"Can't blame 'em either," Banshee nods. He can understand the initial wariness. People trust their own, and they just appeared out of nowhere, strange as it is. That it happened to be from eggs is something that's come up frequently enough that something of it's stuck, which is probably a good thing given how bizarre it was.

He looks thoughtful again at the question. "Some experience," he says. "When your home's attacked, anyone can be a soldier if they're needed to be. Usually I just take care of weapons for the ones that keep going out there, making sure nothing comes for home again."
