The weapons are a selection of guns, spears, knives, etc — a mix of modern and ancient based on material availability, knowledge and skill. The communal weapons are signed out to patrols and signed back in on their return — people are not permitted to carry communal weapons in the Basecamp (personal items that happen to be weapons are fine).
