"You probably took it exactly the right way, which is to say I'm not going to apologize for treating people who show up unannounced in the middle of my very vulnerable camp of refugees like a potential threat. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings." Her tone is very wry, indicating that she is not in fact sorry at all. "I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, and I plan on letting you all out once I've determined you're not a threat, or host to any diseases that could wipe out my camp, but keeping my people safe is my priority. You'll survive a few days in a cage."

She makes notes on her little tablet, and then pushes it away from her with a sigh.

"And no, but at least it gives me a ballpark. So thank you for that. Am I going to get a name out of you, or is that more of a thumbscrews endeavor?"
