[Trish does have to admit that it reflects poorly on the Adamant's upper echelon to expect such a thing of the hatchlings if they had made their request without knowing that some of their new guests are far from the "average person". Which is likely, actually. It's definitely a more complicated situation than she's letting herself believe, enough she can't fault this guy for seeming cold about it.
If they had sent a bunch of hatchlings to die, that would change her tune real quick...but no one had perished. She's sure the network would have exploded if they had. The Adamant is lucky in that regard.
