I hate the idea of coincidences, and I hate them even more when people expect me to believe in them when something like this happens.
[There is no way in hell someone didn't deliberately plan this, whether it was some scientist or entity or other sort of rat bastard powerful enough to do it. Her experience with power hungry people is small, sure, but it turned her life upside down once already. If it's happening again, she has to wonder what god she pissed off.
