for context, cal is able to use psychometry, so he's able to touch things and see their history and/or specific memories attached to them. they appear to him like flashbacks, and he is able to control whether he sees the memory or not, unless it's particularly traumatic or intense, then it can overwhelm him.

would he be able to pick up anything interesting at basecamp? (it's totally cool if not, since i don't want to spoil any mysteries or anything!) what about on the clothes that the locals are giving out?
