It's always kind of depressing - given how very inhuman aliens in her setting are, she doesn't think cured and wildtype humans look very different at all, it always makes her wonder how she looks to these reddish people with their delicate arms and hands, and the answer seems to be 'not good' - but that's how it goes.]
