"That's all there is to it. Careful, start off slow." And he passes it first to the thessyx, who takes it hesitantly and copies what Varric did, with...a minimum of coughing and hacking. Varric wonders if they've done this before with something similar.
"It tastes horrible," the thessyx says, but dutifully hands the joint carefully on long fingers to the other hatchling.
