( They do have a little unfinished business from the aerie -- at least Dean does. Time's passed, Lance has been nothing if not forgiving, but the guilt still exists like a pebble in the back of his mind. He hasn't fixed it yet, or at least that's what his subconscious tells him when he thinks about it, and he's not aware enough of it to acknowledge it might not be something you fix.

He just goes for it, a firm not-quite-handshake grasp of Lance's inner arm and solid pat on the shoulder with the other hand. Pat pat, because they're not really hug levels like he'd have done with someone he was a little closer to. Still a pretty clear fondness in the exchange all the same. )
