1. If questioned about their budding religion, Petra's followers would insist that they alone understand the 'true' vision sent by the Thessyx. They believe it's their job to safeguard the Leviathan and by extension the Hatchlings at all costs. However, if he attempts to speak with Petra directly, as someone who was present when the visions occurred, Vidar may begin to realize there are some holes in her story... given that she isn't a Hatchling, would she even have gotten the vision to begin with...?
2. Drat! Our apologies. We are basing the creature roughly off the Lambent Berserker from Gears of War! We aren't sure why the image went down, hopefully this one will work! 2.1. Good luck, Vidar! Perhaps he could carry a transport skid that people could sit on while he goes a'rescuing?
3. Thorkil isn't quite certain where inland it is, nor how many people are still there. However, we can tell you, with super magical mod knowledge, the little 'outcast settlement' is about about 60 miles north/north-west of the wreck of the Adamant! It is composed mostly of people who were cast out for egregious crimes (when restorative justice fails, this is the last punitive action taken) and their families, as well as those that found said casting out to be unjust. Players could venture that way if they so wished (but it would be a plot engagement request!) 3.1. If Vidar were to speak with Sunya, the doctor who would be examining the bodies, the damage to them and time of death indicates these people were likely closer when they died (possibly a hunting party).
