Group. The wounds are consistent. It's deep damage, but they haven't rent any of the bodies, and we're seeing a string of corpses. A single creature would be more centralized, or large to cover that much ground. We're dealing with a pack. Curious that they aren't necessarily eating, and that they're leaving pieces. This might be aggression, or illness.
